The Leota staff and PTSA invite you to join us as a school volunteer! We have a variety of volunteer opportunities to choose from including before, during and after school hours. Please let us know how you would like to become involved by filling out a volunteer form here, as well as NSD Volunteer forms here: (Volunteer_Application,  Volunteer_Disclosure_Form, Volunteer_WA_State_Patrol_Form) or in the office at Leota.

Your time makes a world of difference!   

September starts out with a need for volunteers for the following: 

Library  - Year round, schedule with the librarian, jpatneaude@nsd.org in September.

Picture Make-up and Retake Days (Sept 19)  Assist photographer with student information for a few hours on two separate days

Health Screening (Sept 26)  Help manage students and assist School Nurse with health screening

Magazine Drive (September 28 - October)  Help outside representative tally orders and give out prizes during lunches on two or three days for Leota's ASB fundraiser

We also have many openings in our PTSA for Committee Chairs and Co-Chairs.  These allow you to work a bit independently, focusing on areas you enjoy!  The following Committees need help so we can have a great year!

National History Day/Night at Museum (8th Grade Activities in Spring Semester)

Volunteer Coordinator*

    *Board member/standing committee, attend three Leota PTSA board meetings a year in addition to General Meetings three times a year
